UV Paint Party Guide

At Chicago’s we have been known to throw some pretty spectacular UV paint parties in our time – the kind of unforgettable nights that make for amazing Facebook photos, as well as awesome memories! But even though everyone always leaves with a great big knowing smile on their faces, whenever we announce another one we’re always bombarded with questions by the uninitiated.

So, to make sure that everyone knows the score, here’s a short guide to what you can expect from a Chicago’s UV paint party next time around:

What is it? Essentially, fluorescent paint is squirted out of UV cannons over the partying crowd, who are bathed in UV light so that everyone can see where the paint has landed.

Is that fun?! Yes, super fun! Where else can you get totally covered in paint and have a massive laugh with your mates at the same time…

What exactly will it be like? Very messy and incredibly fun. Our UV paint parties have the best atmosphere and of course, as well as all the UV paint being chucked around, there’s plenty of great music, some fantastic drinks deals and lots of other people covered in paint!

What should I wear? Don’t dress down too much as this is a pretty cool event – casual and stylish is the perfect balance. We recommend for the girls a long-ish top that can be pulled back into a dress with trainers like old Converse, and for the guys an old t-shirt, jeans and trainers. Remember your hair might get a bit paint splattered so there’s probably no point going to over the top with it (but you can easily wash it out). Accessories-wise everyone needs to have at least one glowstick!
