Kings Lynn was home to the first ever Chicago Rock Café, situated in Norfolk Street in premises now occupied by Bar Red, in the mid-1990s. It relocated to its current position, in the same street, three years later.

Recently taken under new ownership and management, Chicago's is the busiest nightclub venue in Kings Lynn.
