Christain Rose (Chief Executive Officer)

Christian heads Chicago Leisure as Chief Executive Officer. He has extensive experience of setting strategies and restructuring businesses in a variety of industries. Christian joined from Searcys (formally part of De Vere Group) where he was Managing Director and prior to that Chief Executive Officer of GJ Greenall (formally part of De Vere Group) the gin and vodka distiller. Christian has held senior positions with a wide range of companies including The Spirit Group, Alliance Boots, Somerfield and the NAAFI.

Christian was educated at HEC Business School Paris, Cranfield University and Ashridge Business School. Married with two daughters, Christian enjoys cooking and tries to offset the damage of enjoying food and wine by running - having completed two marathons with a best time of 3.57.

 

Jae joined Chicago Leisure as Marketing Director at it’s formation. She brings leisure and rebranding experience from Butlins where she redefined the brand identity and the way they produced publications, before heading up the Social, PR, and Partners/Promos team; specifically targeting mums as the key decision maker. Before joining Butlins Jae had marketing, communications and fundraising experience in Higher Education – speaking to prospective students and their parents about applying to and joining various courses; and to other supporters of HE to raise £8million for a new library at Bournemouth University.

Jae regularly speaks at conferences, has chaired national marketing award judging panels, and has been “the professional” on marking boards for social media projects by University students

Donna began her career with Abbey National in the early 90s where she became CIPD qualified. She moved into the manufacturing sector with Rank Hovis McDougal, and then GlaxoSmithKline, firstly taking responsibility for Operational HR, before helping manage the site closure, including the retraining and outplacement of staff. Donna joined G&J Greenall distillers in 2005 as HR Director, and was responsible for helping rebuild and relocate the business following a major fire, and managed the Company through 2 business sales.

Donna is a qualified coach and NLP practitioner.

An amateur photographer, Donna also enjoys reading, is a movie buff and plays badminton, however spends most of her non-working life on a rugby field (watching not playing).
